As part of a planning legal agreement University College London Hospital undertook to provide a new community facility within their nurses accommodation within the Fitzrovia neighbourhood. The space made available by the Trust was on two floors located on ground and basement levels. The immediate client was the local community who set the design brief comprising of four various sized meeting rooms, creche facilities attached to a new external play area, a large kitchen to cater for functions like wedding and neighbourhood social occassions and administrative facilities for the Neighbourhood Association. The actual contractural client was UCLH Trust who set the budget and construction constraints
